Pet-Friendly Cabins & Lodge Rooms in Ashland, Oregon
9 dog-friendly units inside the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument
A Real Place for Dogs, Not a Hotel With a Pet Policy
Your dog doesn’t want a hotel room. They want a cabin with a wood stove and 100 acres of forest to sniff before breakfast.
Green Springs Inn sits inside the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, 17 miles east of Ashland on Highway 66. Nine of our units welcome dogs. Seven cabins with full kitchens, Jacuzzi tubs, and private decks in the pines. Two lodge rooms in our historic building with hardwood floors and king beds. Trails start at the property line. The BLM information center is right here on our grounds — we lease the space to them.
The Pup-Grade Experience
Every dog who stays at Green Springs Inn gets the Pup-Grade. It’s our required welcome package and dog fee, designed to make your dog’s stay as comfortable as yours.
What’s Included
- A plush dog bed for your cabin or lodge room
- Dog bowls to use during your stay
- Treats from Portland Pet Food Company
- A commemorative portable dog bowl to take on all your adventures (a keepsake from the trip)
Cabins: $87 per dog, per stay (up to 2 dogs). Lodge rooms: $62 per stay (1 dog max).
Add the Pup-Grade during booking. Click “View all add-ons” at checkout. It’s required for all dogs staying on property and needs to be purchased before you arrive.
Service and assistance animals are always welcome at no charge.
Find Your Dog’s Cabin
A wood stove, a private deck, and 100 acres of forest. Your dog already knows what they want.
Why Dogs Love It Here
100+ Acres of Forest
Your cabin sits at 4,500 feet where the loudest thing around is a Steller’s jay arguing with a squirrel. Step off your private deck and you’re in it. Ponderosa pines, madrone groves, the smell of warm bark in the afternoon sun. No lobby. No elevator. No through a parking garage to find a patch of grass. The property sits inside the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, the only national monument in the country designated specifically for its biodiversity.

Trails From Your Doorstep
You don’t have to drive anywhere to get your dog on a trail. Paths lead right off the property into the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, the only national monument in the country designated for its biodiversity. The Pacific Crest Trail is 1.8 miles from your door. The BLM information center? It’s on our property — we lease the space to them.
Trail tip: Check out our guide to the 10 Best Day Hikes from Green Springs Inn for routes that welcome leashed dogs.
Private Cabin Decks
Every cabin has its own deck. Most have a Jacuzzi tub where you can soak under the pines while your dog lounges beside you. Or they curl up by the wood stove inside while you stargaze. On clear nights, there’s no light pollution for miles. Just you, your dog, and more stars than you’ve seen in years. The dark skies here are worth staying up for. Nobody’s knocking on a shared wall. (The dog will find the warmest spot in the cabin before you’ve unpacked. They always do.)
Dinner With Your Dog
Every cabin has a full kitchen, so you can cook dinner with your dog right there instead of leaving them alone while you go out to eat. If you’ve traveled with a dog before, you know that’s a bigger deal than it sounds.
Dog-Friendly Accommodations
We have 9 dog-friendly units: 7 cabins and 2 lodge rooms. Each cabin is a standalone structure with a full kitchen, wood stove, private deck, and Jacuzzi tub. Lodge rooms are in our historic lodge building. Simpler, more affordable, with hardwood floors that make cleanup easy when your dog tracks in pine needles.

Planning Your Dog-Friendly Ashland Trip
We’re 17 miles east of Ashland, about 25-30 minutes on Highway 66 through the Cascade foothills.
Ashland has plenty of dog-friendly spots if you want to spend a day in town. Dog-friendly patios include Skout, Gil’s, Ruby’s, and Mix Bakery. For off-leash time, head to the Ashland Dog Park on North Main Street or walk the Bear Creek Greenway.

Spring brings wildflower blooms along the monument trails, and your leashed dog can join you on most of them. Winter means a quieter property, snow-dusted pines, and day trips to Mt. Ashland (45 minutes) or Crater Lake (about 2 hours). Hyatt Lake is 10 minutes north if you want a quick lakeside outing with your pup.
What to Bring for Your Dog

- Water bowl for hikes (or use the commemorative one from your Pup-Grade)
